Lower Hall gives access to some fabulous country lanes with many circuit rides of varying distances. We're also not too far from The Bishop Bennet's Way Bridle Path, Cholmondeley and Bolesworth - both for their official staged events - are just a stones' throw away.

9 Oaks Shepherd's Hut

A purpose built shepherd's hut - Sleeps 2. There is space around the hut to pitch a small tent.

9 Oaks is nestled at the edge of a small wood with views over Lower Hall's grazing fields and beyond.

It has power for lighting, water, a log burner for heat, a built-in compost toilet, double bed and a veranda. Outside is a small cut grass are and fire pit for you to use.

Shower facilities and toilet are found in the swimming pool room.

Parking is secure parking with a short walk along the edge of Lower Hall's lawned garden, past the garden pond, then down a path by the side of the tennis court.

  • Fire Pit/Grill – again wood box behind hut
  • BBQ – charcoal in wood box
  • Boot store on veranda

We suggest that you bring with you:

  • A torch
  • Walking shoes/boots
  • Soft shoes for inside
  • Tennis rackets (balls provided)
  • Swimming costumes (in season)
  • Food for the BBQ/Firepit e.g. burgers and marshmallows (charcoal and wood provided)
  • A pair of binoculars
  • Towels (Hut and Pool)
  • Milk and sugar
